Your first five minutes with Accessilo

The dashboard checklist walks you through the few settings that matter most.

After activation the Dashboard shows an Accessibility checklist. Completing it takes a few minutes:

  1. Widget enabled – the switch at the top of the dashboard turns the widget on or off for the whole site.
  2. Accessibility statement linked – link the page where you describe your site’s accessibility (see Link your accessibility statement).
  3. “Skip to content” link – lets keyboard users jump past the navigation.
  4. New-tab links announced – screen-reader users hear when a link opens a new tab.
  5. Run a first scan – check your home page with the scanner.

Then open Design and pick your colours: the live preview on the right shows every change before you save.
